Traveler mounted on trunk with centerboard and vang controls. Sails and top cover. Trailer with title, new bunks, new hitch, new 3rd wheel, new wheel hubs/bearings, and new lights. Ready to trailer and sail with the exception of the rudder. The top of the rudder delaminated during our last sail last season (see photos).

THISTLE FIBERGLASS, circa 1970’s Original owner raced it a few times, then put it in shed until 1996. Our kids had seen a Thistle and absolutely wanted one. We took it at least twice/summer to Folsom Lake in California or to the Northern Nevada reservoirs for 12-ish years. The boat has spent the last 28 years safe in a garage under our house. Good condition; sails and spinnaker fine but old, new gold mast, newly repainted green hull, teak rails, old but reliable trailer.

Thistle 1716 in used condition, but ready to sale. Perfect low-cost starter boat! Boat is fiberglass with mahogany trim that was refinished five years ago. Full boat cover from Sailor's Tailor (less than three years old--paid $650) Two sets of sails and a spinnaker. Newer Main halyard Boat is used and needs some TLC, but can be dropped in the water to sail now. Selling with a trailer and boat lift too if desired.
