This Thistle was restored by master craftsman/sailor Wade Hough, to a pristine condition. It should be a very competitive boat, based upon the quality of Wade’s work and his sailing knowledge and skills. Stored indoors, continuously, and has seen very limited use, since being restored.
I jumped at the chance to buy this beautiful Thistle, 5 years ago, with the intention of starting a sailing club, for the young adults in my Church. The lack of reasonably close lakes on which to sail, nixed the idea. Now, at 83 years of age, I am selling my 3 Thistles.
