We will be racing on Barnegat Bay, a sailing haven. This body of water gets a reliable sea breeze, while also enjoying flat water due to the barrier island to the east and the relatively shallow water depth. This is only enhanced by the outstanding race management team of Mark Foster as PRO and Jim Walsh as Head Judge. They are very familiar with the venue and both have managed big events.
The trip from the launch to the sailing area is lengthy, but the club has lined up a collection of tow boats to help get the fleet out to the sailing area promptly.
