Basic Regatta Notes
The 55th Glimmerglass Regatta featured five races on Saturday with a shifty northwest breeze of 8 – 15 with gusts over 20 that was a significant challenge for our competitors with two teams simultaneously capsizing in a big blast on a run near the leeward mark. We had a nice turnout for the pulled pork dinner, live music and traditional bonfire Saturday night. Sunday we switched it up to a steadier southwest wind of 6 – 8 for three more races. Kudos to Bryn and Chris who while under weight for Saturday’s conditions prevailed.
