4018 is a white Great Midwest Thistle that we sailed for the 2025 season, including at Sandusky Nationals. Got a 4th and a 6th at Nationals and finished 2nd at Lake Erie Districts, so it’s plenty fast! Boat is minimum weight with correctors. 2025 upgrades include new traveler system with Harken hardware, new Harken blocks for main sheet (70mm mainsheet block, 50mm boom block), vang and board changed to mini 360s. Comes with 3 sets of sails (Evolutions, North Fishers).

Weight: 506 pounds; 9 pounds added to hit 515 at 2025 Nationals, but can be removed if re-rigging increases the weight

Spars:

  • Mast has regular mast butt, but also comes with adjustable (up to 3/16″) mast butt and step with small allen wrench
