Thistle 1716 in used condition, but ready to sale. Perfect low-cost starter boat! Boat is fiberglass with mahogany trim that was refinished five years ago. Full boat cover from Sailor's Tailor (less than three years old--paid $650) Two sets of sails and a spinnaker. Newer Main halyard Boat is used and needs some TLC, but can be dropped in the water to sail now. Selling with a trailer and boat lift too if desired. Boat, trailer, and lift are all at the Cowan Lake Sailing Association near Wilmington, OH.

1976 D&M Thistle hull number 3458. I purchased the boat last year. It had not been sailed for some time and needed a little work. I purchased it with the goal of making it safe, competitive, and back in the fleet. I did sail the boat last fall and found a leak at in the bow tank and at the centerboard pivot location. I dried out the tanks, repaired the centerboard pivot area and resealed all the keel screws. Seat tank/hull joint had been ground out in previous repair attempt.
