- Working on the details of the “Find A Fleet” page on website
- Looking to order keeper trophies

- Need to start discussing regionals 2025 with RVPs
- Need to touch base w/ RVP to see who wants to stay for 2025
- Nationals 2024
- Working to track down the missing George Thomas R1 D2 trophy.
- Nicole suggested getting the mini hub cap trophies for championship 1st – 5th. She identified two potential sources and will update the group when she gets quotes.

- 2025 Sandusky Sailing Club, OH Dates Aug 2 – 8, 2025
- NRC – Chairperson: Doug Kaukeinen (remaining NRC members TBD)

- Discussing possible a different venue for Women’s and Junior Nationals
- 2026 Eugene Yacht Club, OR – Dates July 26 – 31, 2026
- Talked with Martin Parisien on Sept 13 from Eugene. He is starting to work out a plan with the Eugene fleet.
- Need to identify an NRC Chair soon to allow time to identify a PRO as they are booking well in advance.
- Possible:
- 2027 North Cape Yacht Club, MI – NCYC rep says they’re finalizing a rear commodore and will be in touch after that.
- 2028 Wrightsville Beach NC / Carolina Yacht Club –Need to discuss with Howard Mendlovitz.
- Midwinters
- MWW dates Feb 5 – 9, 2025
- Dates published in latest BP. Need to publish dates on GG and add event to website calendar
- Need to set up a meeting to touch base with Nicole, Aaron, Lizette, Stan, Phil, Warren

- Reported that he will meet with Lloyd Kitchin to transition 3rd VP officer position
- Chief Measurer: Bob White
- Potential amendment: Reefed mains: Talking to sail makers. Material used for windows isn’t compatible with sail reefing. I need to see if reefs can be added to old mains. Would need ruling about not changing reef status during a race
- Past President’s Report: John Howell
- Endowment Funds needs to have an investment of $100,000.00 before we can hire a Professional Fund Manager.
- President’s Report: Nicole Shedden
- 2024 Nationals: St. Petersburg Trophy for Race Management: US Sailing received 61 responses out of 65 of the National participants (needed 60% participation), so TRYC can officially be considered for the trophy
- 2025 Nationals:
- Sandusky Sailing Club asked about seed money. Propose we give $3,000 to $5,000 from TCA G&P fund to be paid back after Nationals. Will write a policy doc for lending this money and present next month.
- SSC asked about the trophy fee; I propose $45.00 for 80 boats to make sure we cover the increase in pewter costs
- Media: Based on several conversations during and Nationals, we should look into paid media help for large events (social media and sailing media); will work with Paul Cone and/or Lloyd Kitchin
- Thank everyone for all their work this past year and wishes for the best for the next year
- Old Business:
- Diamonds: Bob talked to Doug Laber at GMW about diamond wires. Doug’s intent to continue making new diamond wires is unclear. Bob will continue discussions and bring in Jack Finefrock and Warren Duckworth for continuity.
- New Business:
- Centerboards: Nicole talked to a member who has been unable to get a centerboard for his new boat and is using the board from his old boat. Discussed whether we need to add another class-approved builder of fiberglass centerboards.
