Thistle Midwinters East 2026
Midwinters East is just around the corner – March 4-8, 2026 at Pensacola Yacht Club!

Early registration ends on February 19th, after that the price goes up, so make your plans and sign up now!
MWE is going to be a race sense event. If you need a rental device, you’ll find the link on the registration site. You’ll need to rent your device before the deadline in the NOR to insure delivery prior to the regatta.
Coaching, tuning, and practicing is on Wednesday March 4, with racing Thursday to Sunday, with Coach TCA sessions as well.
The Thistle Southern Circuit is going to look it did in years past – the Orange Peel is moving back to its traditional slot on the third weekend in March. If you want to do both regattas you can drop your boat off at the Florida Yacht Club and come back for the Peel. Look for more details on the OP coming soon.
Various lodging options are available – hotels, VRBOs, and AirBnBs abound, and tent camping is available, along with limited RV availability.
Sailing on Pensacola Bay is a blast – plenty of breeze, wide open sailing area, and there’s plenty to do in the area. You might see American Magic ripping around the bay, there’s a chance the Blue Angels will be practicing, and the bushwhackers are epic! Looking forward to seeing you in March at Pensacola Yacht Club!
