Friday Clinic by Mike Ingham

If you are a crew without a boat, or don’t have your full team, show up and;

1. We will do our best to mix and match to try and get you out there.
2. Let us know your needs and we can see if a “race ready” junior is available.

Try and rig your boat beforehand, once we start, things will move along quickly.

If you need to arrive late, you are still welcome to join in any time for the on the water clinic and/or the debrief.

1:00 – 2:00 tuning talk (on shore)

2:00 launch

2:30 – 4:30 on the water clinic

5:00 – 5:30 debrief

Food Update

A cook your own steak dinner will be provided Saturday night for each skipper and crew.  Additional tickets will be on sale for $20.00 each.

The NCYC bar has limited supply of burgers and pizza.  Toledo Beach Marina has a restaurant

Covid Policy

Per CDC recommendations

If you’ve been fully vaccinated:

You can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic.

You can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart

If you have not been fully vaccinated, please follow social distancing rules including wearing a mask.

Weather and energy levels permitting,  we will have an informal match racing event in Finns.

Sailors for the Sea

This Championship is an environmentally friendly regatta.  Please bring your own water bottles and there will be a re-fillable water station on the NCYC patio.  Please bring your water bottles and recycle.

We have a great weekend planned, starting with a Friday afternoon clinic with Mike Ingham. Racing will be Saturday and Sunday. Camping is allowed on yacht club property.

Entry fee and registration information:

• Registration deadline: July 10, 2021 at 1000 hrs.

• Early registration: $100 on or by July 1 (Non-US Sailing Members add $10)
• Under 25 early registration: $50.00 on or by July 1 (US Sailing membership required)
• After July 1 but prior to close of registration: $125 (Non-US Sailing Members add $10)

Boat storage for 2021 Nationals

With prior notice, a limited number of boats can be stored at Cleveland Yachting Club between the Great Lakes Championship and the 75th Anniversary National Championship. Storage will be limited and in a specific area of the club and must be pre-arranged.

COVID-19 Restrictions

Covid-19 Restrictions on clothing and social distancing as determined by the Organizing Authority will be announced on Yacht Scoring no later than June 17, 2021 and may include six foot “social distancing,” mask wearing, and other precautions.
