2025 Midwinters East
Plans are starting to come together for yet another awesome Mid-Winters East regatta this coming March. As we’ve done the last two years, we’re continuing a new tradition by going to Fort Walton Yacht Club for a four day regatta, March 9-12 (Sunday – Wednesday). There will be coaching, tuning, and the return of Coach in the Boat on Saturday March 8, stay tuned for more details!
And, as always, Tom Hubbell and team are planning another fantastic Coach TCA session. Look for a note from Tom in this edition of the Bagpipe.
And – since we had such a great response this year, the Thistle Southern Circuit is back again! To make it easier to participate, MWE ends on Wednesday March 12, Thursday the 13th we head over to Jacksonville for more sailing & coaching, and Friday-Saturday the 14th & 15th we have the Orange Peel. Look for more details on the OP coming soon.
In the meantime, in order to help with planning, we want to mention various lodging options that are available. The club has some limited camping available on the club peninsula, most of the condos on the beach (Okaloosa Island) are booked through VRBO, and there are also many options available on AirBnB. Book your accommodations early before they’re all gone!
