2022 Damful Regatta
Leatherlips’ Thistle fleet grew last year with 4 new boat owners. Come sail against a fast (growing) fleet. It’s a one day regatta with fun racing on O’Shaughnessy Reservoir.

Rules: The one-day regatta shall be governed by the current version of the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association, and the class rules of the THISTLE CLASS ASSOCIATION, except as any of these are altered by the sailing instructions.

Alternatively, you can register by emailing Dick Bartz at dick.bartz@gmail.com with the subject line of “Damful”. Include your name, crew name (if known) and boat number in the email. SIs will be emailed to registered competitors. There is NO regatta fee. If you have not registered beforehand, check-in with Dick Bartz when you arrive.
Schedule of Events:
11:15 am – Skippers Meeting on the clubhouse porch
12 noon – Warning Signal for Race 1. Plan is to have between 3 and 5 races back to back.
3:45 pm – No race will be started after 3:45 pm
5:00 pm – Awards on clubhouse porch
Beverages will be provided.
Scoring: Boats will be scored using the Low-Point scoring system. All races are scored.
Awards: Skipper and crew awards to the top 3 finishers + the top Junior finisher
